While at TJ's, I thought ahead for dinner and bought some chicken toquitos and a twinzer set of veggie enchiladas. Dinner breaks at the bookshop are always a quick affair. All you get is a half-hour. Eating fast isn't really my style. I like to eat slow, sip my wine, deliberate like.
Much to my chagrin, I had to wait in line for the microwave, but I had my New Yorker and Surfer mags to read. I barely had enough time to eat my baby carrots before they wanted me back on the floor to kick some vagrants out the door.
Many thanks to Leslie for turning me on to TJ's toquitos.
